COGNITIVE ASSESSMENTS
Cognitive Competency Assessments
Verbal Comprehension
Verbal comprehension is designed to measure verbal comprehension, reasoning and logic.
Participants are required to read passages of information quickly, comprehend its contents, identify and synthesise relevant information and apply analytical thinking.
Verbal Reasoning

Participants are required to filter out key points and information from a longer piece of text, requiring the use of literacy and verbal reasoning to understand the concepts in the passage of text.
Numerical Computation
Numerical Computation evaluates a participant’s ability to effectively perform the four basic operations of arithmetic.
Participants are also assessed on their ability to solve numerical problems involving fractions, decimals, percentages and ratios.
Numerical Reasoning
Numerical Reasoning is designed to measure a participant’s aptitude with numerical interpretation, reasoning and application of numerical and statistical data.
Whilst participants are required to perform basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages and ratios, the assessment is designed to evaluate the participants’ ability to reason with numerical information.
